Dear Lee :
I had a little trip to LanYu with my colleagues last week.
LanYu is a small island, most people live there are aboriginal.
Also, it's a very suitable place to relax and to be in a daze.
It seems people and animals would feel free and slow down steps there.

This postcard is an activity held by a magazine agency. There's 25 different postcards represented 25 different places in Taiwan, but there's one thing in commin, is to introduce the beauty and spirit of Taiwan.

Tung flowers bloom in May, the flowers are white, when they are in full bloom, just look like snow, we call it 五月雪(May Snow).

Greetings from Taiwan!!

Hi~ I am Karen from Tainan, the south-west of Taiwan. The scene on the postcard is "East Rift Valley". It's a good place to roam around.

In the past, the local farmer mainly planted rape flowers to be green manure between the harvests, so if you come here in winter, you can see that wonderful view.

Hi~ The scene on the postcard is 城隍廟(Chenghuang Temple) in Hsinchu，the north-west of Taiwan. It built in 1748, you can find lots of famous and delicious foods here, and the temple is surrounded by stores.
p.s : Cheng Huang is the guardian of Chinese mythology, the God of city.

明信片上的太子賓館，位於台北縣瑞芳鎮金瓜石。西元1922年由田中礦山株式會社為迎接當時日本皇太子來台，仿日本皇宮所興建的行館。1987年台灣電力公司接管後依原樣、原材料整修，近幾年才開放參觀，算是保存的相當好的日式建築。

明信片上的太子宾馆，位於台北县瑞芳镇金瓜石。西元1922年由田中矿山株式会社为迎接当时日本皇太子来台，仿日本皇宫所兴建的行馆。1987年台湾电力公司接管後依原样、原材料整修，近几年才开放参观，算是保存的相当好的日式建筑。

The theme celebrates the festive spirit and prosperous street scene at the Qingming Festival, rather than the holiday's ceremonial aspects.
